Elden Ring players have discovered many ways to grief one another in Elden Ring Runes PVP However, one flaw on PC was particularly insidious. This allowed players to put players in an endless death loop that could destroy their save files. Not good! Thankfully, the developer FromSoftware had the foresight to address the issue in a tiny update to the game which went live earlier today.

"Fixed an issue in multiplayer that allowed players to send others to wrong coordinates on maps," reads one of the notes that are included in the mini-1.03.2 patch. Bandai Namco didn't elaborate on how the bug worked or if those who exploited it would be banned, or what the consequences would be for users it was already based on. The publisher didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
The PSA taken from the Elden Ring news account warning players of the exploit blew up on Twitter last week , March 18. "There's an exploit that's being used on PC that allows hackers to corrupt your save file as you're invaded," it read. "First they will crash your game. Then, when you open it again, your character will be always falling to their deaths. ..."
The technique involved teleporting unsuspecting players to parts that were not allowed on the map. They would die within seconds. Loading the game back up led to the same result. It was not clear why players were doing it or how widespread the problem was, but several people affected by the exploit have shared their experiences on the internet.
The group also suggested possible solutions, one of which involved press Alt and F4 to quit the game, which would give additional time once it was reopened to players to open up the map and try to get out of the loop. It's not known if that worked for everyone affected though, or if today's patch can help players who've already fallen victim to Elden Ring. Elden Ring "prank."

Since it was released, Elden Ring has already been through two major updates and has sold over 12 million copies. More importantly, players continue to find all kinds of Elden Ring Runes for sale wild stuff buried in its spooky and sometimes damaged open world, including the ability to make your horse fly, by killing it.
